Turkey Trot 1 Mile Fun Run

The Turkey Trot is a COMPLETELY FREE event! All are welcome!

There are a few reasons! 

1. We want to be able to provide race bibs and medals for at CHES student participants.
2. There is usually a class competition to see who has the most participants - so registration helps with that!
3. After the run, trotters get to enjoy donuts, bananas, water or other delicious rewards. We want to make sure everybody has food to eat.

Another reason why registration is so important! We have to order medals ahead of time, so we need to know how many students will be in attendance. Unfortunately, medals are only guaranteed for pre-registered CHES students.

We will always keep a close eye on the weather leading up to the race to see if we need to reschedule or cancel. However, if it's just a light drizzle or if it's chilly, expect the race to be on!

All turkey trot shirts must be preordered as they are printed on demand. Unfortunately, we cannot order more shirts after the race. So be sure to place your order when the t-shirt information comes out!

We always need volunteers to help the event run smoothly. We typically need volunteers for registration/check-in, giving out medals, running food tables, and even cheering on our trotters. More information about specific volunteer needs will be sent out as the date gets closer.
